Extra-large backing plate made of PE

At the beginning of March, our company received an inquiry from a customer for an extra-large backing plate made of PTFE (6100 mm × 2900 mm × 30 mm, with the option of splicing). Based on the operating conditions and budget provided by the customer, we recommended using PP or PE instead. On one hand, PTFE is very expensive; on the other hand, its high density makes the workpiece too heavy and difficult to process. In the end, due to the relatively poor low-temperature performance of PP, the customer accepted our recommendation and chose PE.
